Sibley Mill

Sibley Mill is an historic textile mill located on the Augusta Canal. The mill was constructed on the site which was previously occupied by the Confederate Powderworks during the Civil War. With Architect Jones S. Davis, Sibley Mill was completed in 1882 and retained the original tall chimney of the Confederate Powderworks as a monument. The mill was purchased by the Augusta Canal Authority and is now under lease by Cape Augusta. Cape Augusta has plans for tenant office space, labs, amenities, and a data center.
