About Ed Boyen

Ed Boyen is one of three registered architects at Christopher Booker & Associates, PC. He brings a positive and determined focus to all his projects as well as more than 25 years of industry experience.

He began his career in south Florida, with a Bachelor of Design, gaining experience with residential projects and developments. Ed was later tapped to become a nontraditional student in a nontraditional program being developed at Florida Atlantic University. During the program, he worked full time in architecture while attending classes at night and on weekends. In 2002, his hard work paid off, and he was awarded his Bachelor of Architecture degree.

He later moved from Florida to rural Georgia, trading an urban core for farm land and green pastures. Living on a farm has helped Ed foster a real enthusiasm and appreciation for green architecture – from the healthy environment it creates to the one it protects. In addition to his green architecture work, Ed has either designed or managed the construction of a variety of building types, including educational, civic, commercial, healthcare, municipal, and residential.

Being a responsible part of a community is important to Ed. He believes it calls for using one’s time and talents to enrich the lives of others in the community. As such, he actively participates in his church and school – serving in roles ranging from soccer coach to youth leader. As a member of Family Connections and Communities in Schools, he developed a master plan of its future campus and helped facilitate The Clothes Closet outreach program.
